The Operations Analyst is responsible for accurate & timely management of the application process for prospective students applying to the graduate business programs. This position supports and assists prospective students, applicants, and Admissions/Enrollment marketing team in navigating the online application system and associated Slate CRM database platform. The Operations Analyst provides operational support to the team and champions technology solutions for business processes.
Specific duties and responsibilities:
Coordinate and process a high volume of online applications and supplemental application materials (transcripts, resumes, test scores, etc.).
Serves as the point person for managing required application materials in order to ensure authenticity, confirm essential data, and verify degree completion requirements, with a significant volume from international documents requiring additional research/discovery.
Maintains communication with in-progress applicants via email and phone to assemble required information and materials in order to complete application files, troubleshoot and resolve issues. Delivers outstanding, responsive customer service.
Process application records through system inputs in Slate CRM, UVA SIS and related systems; maintains and resolves issues with the integrity of the database.
Manages event logistical planning within CRM system.
Performs scheduling tasks to support interview and event management.
Professional Experience and Education:
A BA/BS degree in a field related to the position; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
BA/BS degree and three years of related work experience preferred.
Strong computer skills, including CRM or database experience, are required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to thoroughly execute on tasks; excellent organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing and complex priorities.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical staff.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (including verbal and written) in order to represent the department.
Self-motivated team player with the ability to handle a high volume of work and meet deadlines.
Ability to analyze and interpret data engaging in formal and informal problem-solving. Seeks additional information as needed to perform job functions and answer questions.
Understands and upholds departmental policies and procedures.
Anticipated hiring range: $50,000 - $55,000
