Position Highlights:

The Consortium on Gender-Based Violence is a research and resource center dedicated to eradicating violence on campus. This position is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day management duties of a grant to establish a forensic exam program, including tracking advancement of the project's goals in accordance with the grant timeline. This position is responsible for liaising with community agency and hospital partners to develop the program and troubleshoot administrative issues, and engaging key campus stakeholders to gain buy in support for the program. The position will develop and manage a new campus Sexual Assault Response Team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop the framework for, engage community and campus partners in, manage the operations of, and conduct strategic planning for a new campus-based Sexual Assault Response Team (SART). This position will also document the successes and challenges of this new model in order to deliver a case study to the sponsor at the end of the grant.
  • Work with grant partners (SACASA, Banner UMC Hospital) to implement the program in accordance with best practices, while ensuring that the grant requirements and deliverables are achieved during the process.
  • Oversee and track the internal program evaluation, including working with grant partners to develop and implement surveys, and use survey results to make program/service improvement recommendations.
  • Oversee the development and dissemination of marketing materials to inform UArizona students of the new forensic exam program, including working with student interns to ensure materials are engaging to the student population.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Criminal Justice or related field of study.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Experience with sexual assault prevention and advocacy training in a higher education setting are preferred.
