Position Highlights:

Develops, coordinates and implements healthcare simulation training and related courses for the Arizona Simulation Technology and Education Center (ASTEC) to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications. Possesses a range of healthcare education for use with the operation of simulation training modules and overall program development. Has a proven history of providing healthcare education.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate, operate, and instruct medical simulation-based training sessions.
  • Develop and prepare all healthcare simulation curriculum to meet course objectives and accreditation standards.
  • Implement and operate patient simulators and related software, task trainers, digital/video/audio equipment, computer-based multimedia peripherals, and workstations.
  • Prepare and maintain healthcare simulation course materials.
  • Assist with medical simulation research and grants.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Current EMT-P Certification.
