Position Summary:

Post-doctoral fellow will be primarily responsible for helping maintain and develop neuroimaging analysis tools for use by labs using Neuroimaging within the Psychology and Neuroscience Department at UNC. They would be jointly supervised by Drs. Hallquist, Sheridan, and Miller. Work would include programming to develop tools for use by many labs as well as direct work with lab members (graduate students, research assistants and other post-doctoral fellows) to help with implementing new tool use. In addition, the post-doctoral fellow would be responsible for some data analysis within specific projects and would have time and be provided resources to pursue independent research projects.

Experience with fMRI data analysis is preferred for this position, but this can be primarily connectivity or task-based analyses. Knowledge of python, R, MATLAB are useful skills as is use of nipype, FSL, or fMRIprep.

Educational Requirements:

PhD in Psychology or related field by time of appointment.

Qualifications and Experience:

It is preferred that the post-doctoral trainee should have experience with neuroimaging research methods, proficiency in statistical analyses, and a publication record.
