This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds. Also involves some job-related travel (less than 10% of time); exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to temperature extremes, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, and blood-borne or airborne pathogens.Shift:
Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hours per week). Occasional weekends, adjustments to hours, and holidays may be requested at the discretion of the department.Job Summary:
This position will assist self-pay and under insured patients in obtaining free medications primarily from drug manufacturer replacement programs and work on manufacturer assistance programs.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
This position requires dependability, and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
Two years of previous work experience (in a related field). Prefer previous pharmacy tech experience or work/classes in medical field. Hired candidate must maintain state licensure in good standing. Must have 2 years of full-time (or pro-rated) pharmacy technician experience and must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).Deadline to Apply:
