Physical Requirements:

Sitting at a desk/computer terminal/lab bench for 1-2 hours at a time; Periodic lifting of boxes/bottles less than 25#; Stocking shelves may require using a step-stool.

Shift:

Monday – Friday, 9:30 am – 6:00 pm.

Job Summary:

A Research Analyst is required to help maintain a laboratory that studies host-microbe interactions. The individual will assist with the overall lab operation, independently performing complex experiments involving bacterial infection of live mice, confocal microscopy, and training a moderately sized group of undergraduate students. Previous experience in microscopy and working with live mice is preferred.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

Experience working with mice, basic lab skills, basic computer skills (e.g., MS windows, excel).

Preferred Education/Experience:

Master’s degree in a related field (science preferred)
