Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be assigned to the position of ADJUNCT FACULTY – MATH (PART-TIME) for the benefit of and to be located at Baker College Online.General Statement of Duties:
The primary purpose of the Part-Time Adjunct Faculty person is to teach courses in areas of their expertise.Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in biological sciences (i.e. microbiology, anatomy & physiology, pathophysiology, etc.) preferredMaster's degree in biological sciences or Master’s degree in another area with 18 hours of graduate work in biological sciences requiredMaster’s degree in healthcare profession with transcript evidence of biology coursework consideredWork experience in higher education (teaching, curriculum design) preferredExperience teaching online preferredFamiliarity with an LMS (Canvas preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, video conferencing, and the Internet requiredMust have effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Teach a specified number of classesRevise, review and/or develop curriculum, as neededComplete all required professional development/trainingCollect and submit required assessment of student learning dataParticipate in appropriate campus and system committees, meetings, projects, and activitiesOther duties as assigned
