Assist with the research related activities for the Capacity Building Grant.Scope of Responsibilities:
Help to collect vineyard data and image data, to organize and process digital images, to develop and test research algorithms, and assist the PI with other lab activities.Essential Job Functions :
This job requires
Travelling to the vineyard on Alcorn Lorman campus.
Light labor work such as collecting dry leaves, and
Operating image processing software like PhotoShop.
Must be present in the office/lab assigned by the department of Advanced Technologies, and reachable by phone or by email for at least 15 hours per week.
Accomplish all assigned tasks in the given time period.
Attend all group meetings.
Computer Networking or Computer Science majors
Must be a US citizen per grant requirements.
Maintain a GPA OF 3.0 or higher
Enrolled at Alcorn State University as an undergraduate.
Knowledge of computer programing and applications.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.
Proficient in Microsoft office.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
