Adjunct Faculty, Department of History and Political Science

Position Summary:

ABAC’s Department of History and Political Science is home to an interdisciplinary group of scholars who work together to offer courses in support of our USG-approved Core Curriculum and the History and Government B.S. degree. We seek qualified adjunct faculty to staff courses in History or Political Science. Part-time, temporary, adjunct faculty may instruct one or two courses a semester on an as-needed basis. Possible courses may include: United States History I or II, or American Government. These courses may be offered in a traditional face-to-face format or on-line depending upon the need. The Department of History and Political Science offers courses both at ABAC’s main site in Tifton and at the instructional site in Bainbridge. Required Qualifications:

-Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 credits of graduate coursework in either history or political science.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Evidence of successful teaching of college-level history or political science courses preferred.
