Responsibilities

Responsible for the day to day care of children 6 weeks-11 months old to include supervision, diapering, feeding, and engaging children in age appropriate learning activities.

Provides leadership and daily supervision, guidance, and training of assistant teachers in the classroom. Works under the supervision of the Faculty Lead Teacher to develop and implement lesson plans, perform developmental assessments, and communicate with families.

Qualifications
  • Experience working with children 6 weeks-11 months old.
Preferred
  • Completion of mandatory Department of Children and Families 40 hours of training.

Pay Plan

This is an OPS/temporary Job.

Schedule

Candidate must be able to work 40 hours per week Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM-5:30 PM.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
