Responsibilities

This position is responsible for serving as support staff for financial and administrative responsibilities for all participating UBA client sites and the UBA Central Office.

Assists with business functions related to travel, procurement, accounts payable, auxiliary AR billing and human resource transactions for client sites. Responsible for the reconciliation, accountability, maintenance, and reporting of department ledgers for UBA sites.

Conducts specific audits to review budgeting, accounting, personnel and payroll activities for participating units of the University Business Administrators Program assuring compliance with University, state and federal regulations, policies and procedures.

Responsible for or assists with special projects related to operational efficiencies of participating UBA sites. Complies and prepares financial data using complex financial reports. Responsible for performing a wide variety of standard administrative and office support duties.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience.

(Note post high school education and experience equal to four years.)

Knowledge of accounting systems and practices.

Experience working with Microsoft Office, Excel, and other applicable computer applications.

Experience compiling, reviewing, and reconciling data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Experience prioritizing, organizing, and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Experience performing accurately in a detail-oriented environment.

Anticipated Salary Range

Upper $20,000's, commensurate with education and experience.
