Office of Animal ResourcesJob Description
Rodent husbandry and colony management, Facility cleaning and upkeep, washing dirty equipment and caging, prepping and sterilizing clean caging, maintaining animal care supplies and inventory.
Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 pounds, some repetitious movements of arms and hands, walking/standing while using a biosafety cabinet
Attention to Detail, Punctuality/Exceptional Attendance, Motivated to provide good service to the animals and the researchersSalary
Salary Range: $13.00 – $15.00 / hour

A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.Preferred Qualifications
High School diploma required, some college or experience in Animal Science or Biological Science preferred
Animal care experience required; rodent handling experience preferred.
