Job Description

Support the Small Animal Surgical Oncology service in the perioperative/intraoperative setting. Receive cases. Assist with sedation of patients for imaging/procedures. Communicate with owners regarding potential patients and scheduling. Instruct students with technical procedures. Provide support for other logistics/paperwork important to service function.


Salary: $13.27 - $22.73 an hour

Grade: GGS-006

University Title: Veterinary Technicain

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduation from an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology Program.
  • Licensure as a Registered Veterinary Technician in the State of Missouri, or eligibility to obtain Missouri Licensure within 6 months after start date.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in the field of surgery in a referral hosptial
