We invite qualified candidates to apply for our full-time, temporary Developmental Math Faculty position for the 2021 2022 Academic Year. This will be a 1-year appointment. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student learning, assessment, and the use of technology in the delivery of instruction. They will be responsible for assessing student performance in coordination with other members of the Developmental Math department to evaluate effectiveness of teaching and student learning and will have demonstrated successful outcomes with diverse student populations. Teaching load is 15 credit hours per semester. Responsibilities include teaching primarily Pre-Algebra, Beginning Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, and Applied Math, and sections of Contemporary Math, Statistics, and College Algebra as needed.

Qualifications: A minimum of a Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field with at least 18 credit hours in graduate-level mathematics coursework is required.  Preferred candidates will have teaching experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to nurture students through the transition from high school to college. Preferred candidates will embrace the use of technology in teaching and will maintain the highest possible standards in classroom instruction, management, and assessment.
