Job Summary This is a temporary position within the department of Academic Technology Services. Estimated duration of employment is May 3rd through August 20th of 2021.

This position will provide services including decommissioning of old Audio Visual (AV) equipment and cabling, installation of new AV equipment and cabling, troubleshooting and repair of AV Equipment. The position also delivers high level IT related customer service.

Candidate will work with on-campus ITS staff to execute audio/visual needs for a special project while maintaining high customer skills and professionalism.

Standard work week is Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with 1 hour for lunch. Flexible schedule required allowing some evening and weekend support as needed.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties

Decommissioning, transporting, installing, documenting AV equipment and cabling. Troubleshooting and repairing AV equipment and systems.

Data Entry

Clerical and data collection/entry

Other duties

Other duties as assigned by the supervisor based on business need.

Required Qualifications

Education requirement

High school diploma

Required Experience

1 year demonstrated experience in an audio visual technology related position

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Abilities

Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Knowledge

Good understanding of audio visual systems including projectors and microphones.
