Job Summary

"• Answer telephone, provide information/answering questions, or directing callers to appropriate staff, offices, and resources.

• Assisting office visitors by providing information/answering questions, directing them to appropriate staff, offices, and resources.

• Assisting Office Assistant and other staff with projects, which may include, filing, typing, mail sorting, etc.

• Deliver or pick-up paperwork/printing to/from various university offices.

• Assist with filing and making copies.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Professional development."

Required Qualifications

"Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled for six credit hours and maintaining at least a 2.0 cumulative grade-point average unless otherwise noted/indicated by the hiring department.

Superior customer service skills, positive and friendly attitude. Willingness to work cooperatively with others. Ability to handle confidential information with care and ability to prioritize duties. Basic computer skills and knowledge, attentiveness to details, and good organizational skills and initiatives.

Be able to lift and carry mail."

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Basic knowledge of the university preferred.
