Job Summary



Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure each co-worker, student/customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every student/customer, maintaining outstanding standards, and all other aspects of customer service.
  • Communicate effectively both written and oral.
  • Responsibilities will include filing/storing documents, mailing letters, making copies, and assisting staff with special projects; i.e. putting together binders, setting up files, etc. Fill/refill literature outside the financial aid office area.
  • Retrieve items from drop box and distribute as appropriate.
  • Distribute incoming mail.
  • Operate and maintain letter folding machine.
  • Maintain printer paper and supplies for the office.
  • Shred documents and empty the shredder.
  • Move surplus and excess materials to the storage area.
  • Check supplies and inform Work-Study Coordinator of needed supplies.
  • Stock materials in various areas.
  • Maintain orderly appearance of the work area, supplies area, and storage area.
  • Any other tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft word and Excel
• Good listening and communication skills
• Customer service oriented
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Display honesty and integrity
• Open to all majors
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
