Job Details
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Supervise and schedule lifeguard staff. Review and approve all hours worked.
•Process cash register receipts and daily deposits.
•Ensure the pool is in compliance with all rules and regulations set forth by the Board of Health.
•Coordinate access with Hofstra Card Services as needed.
•Work in conjunction with departments including Physical Plant and Public Safety as needed.
•Provide coverage for extended hours and weekends to assist Athletic Facilities Operations as needed.
Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Association, and the NCAA.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required. Prior experience working in a pool center, hiring staff and lifeguard certification necessary. Applicants should have excellent organization and communication skills. CPR for Professional Rescuers Instructor and Certified Pool Operator Certificate preferred but not required.
