Coach II - Swimming

Regular Full-time, Market Range 11

Assistant Swimming and Diving coach for combined men's and women's programs.

Job Functions/Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with the Head Coach to implement planning, development, and administration of all phases of the swimming training program to athletes as assigned by the head coach.  
- Assists the recruiting coordinator to recruit student athletes to build a championship level swimming program.
- Performs functions specific to the area of expertise associated with the coaching staff.
- Projects a positive image of the program and university and demonstrates a dedication to academic and personal development of student-athletes at an elite level.  
- Must be committed to conducting the program in accordance with the philosophy of the Athletics Department, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures and regulations of the university, the Southeastern Conference and the NCAA.

 



Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:

Bachelor's degree required.

Required level/type of experience:

Experience coaching and training collegiate and/or professional swimmers required.

Preferred level/type of experience:

Experience/knowledge as a collegiate swim coach or collegiate swimmer preferred.   Experience coaching elite performing swimmers in national and international competitions preferred.

Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Knowledge of NCAA rules is required.

Competencies/Qualifications:

Ability and Experience coaching and training collegiate and/or professional swimmers required.
Experience/knowledge as a collegiate swim coach or collegiate swimmer preferred. Experience coaching elite performing swimmers in national and international competitions preferred.
