8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Monday – Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required, as necessary.

Primary Purpose of Position:

This position will spearhead all aspects of video and technology for the Charlotte men’s basketball program using software platforms including Synergy Sports Tech, Sports Code, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. Primary responsibilities include filming, coding and distributing all practice and game film; assist coaches in creating scouting reports; analyze film for potential recruits; and order/maintain team equipment.

Minimum Education/Experience:

Required Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience related to the area of assignment in a broadcast television, radio and emerging media environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

University Preferred Qualifications:

Graduation from high school and one year of experience in the specialized area(s) in a broadcast television, radio and emerging media environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Job Duties:

This position will spearhead all aspects of video and technology for the Charlotte men’s basketball program using software platforms including Synergy Sports Tech, Sports Code, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. Primary responsibilities include filming, coding and distributing all practice and game film; assist coaches in creating scouting reports; analyze film for potential recruits; and all other aspects of technology.

Other Work Responsibilities:

Work with graduate assistants and other support staff to produce recruiting mailouts, graphics and monthly coaches newsletter. Order, distribute and organize all team equipment and team-issued gear.

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:

Master’s degree preferred, and at least one year experience working in a Division I basketball program.

One year experience working with the software platforms Synergy and Sports Code.
