    The goal of this position is to provide ancillary support to Perioperative Services. Timely and accurate data entry related to procedures, supply utilization, and charges, along with accurate scheduling of cases, is essential to efficient and effective management of perioperative services.


     1.         Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program preferred, or equivalent experience.

     2.         Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of operating room and medical terminology. 

     3.         Minimum of Surgical Technician education or 2 years of hands on Operating Room experience.

    Working Conditions:Working conditions include but are not limited to an environment of high stress where exposure to high phone call volume, repetitive keyboard activity, sitting for extended periods of time, eye strain and difficult phone conversations requiring tact and advanced communication skills are required.
