Lynn is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer.The Assistant Athletic Trainer works under the supervision of the Director of Sports Medicine/Head Athletic Trainer and supervises the care of student athletes competing in Lynn University's athletic programs. This position includes all phases of the prevention, medical coverage, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of assigned athletic teams. This also includes administrative duties including, but not limited to: daily medical records, insurance claims reports and any other duties as assigned. Sport assignments will be determined. Employment is a full-time, 10-month position.

- Prevention of athletic injuries and illnessesEvaluation of athletic injuriesTreatment of athletic injuriesProviding counseling and education to student athletesAthletic training administrative dutiesProvide medical coverage of practices and competitionsRecordkeeping and documentationWork with doctors and other allied health professionals to deliver care to student athletes Other duties as assignedAbide by NCAA and Sunshine State Conference rules and regulations
- Bachelor's degree with experience in collegiate athletics. Master's degree preferred.Current NATABOC certificationFlorida State Licensure (or eligible)Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
