This position requires regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time, and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Also involves some exposure to loud noises, cuts/punctures, blood-borne or airborne pathogens, and combative/violent people.Shift:
Monday- Friday; 7:30am – 6:00pmJob Summary:
This position will provide support to clinics during regular staff leaves, absences, and other vacancies of Patient Relations Assistant positions. The primary responsibilities of a Patient Relations Assistant include greeting patients, registering patients for their appointments, verifying insurance, cash handling, scheduling appointments, procuring new patient records, and ensuring patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, teamwork, and proficient communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have extensive customer service experience and be able to communicate in a calm and helpful manner during stressful and/or crisis situations. Should have the ability to pay high attention to detail; work with a teamwork mindset; have data entry skills and respect for confidentiality; be able to prioritize tasks efficiently; and work in multiple systems simultaneously.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and 3.5 years of experience in medical office work preferred. Prior patient registration and insurance verification experience highly preferred.Deadline to Apply:
