The UK Gas Surface Interactions Lab is conduct research numerical simulation of computational fluid dynamics and material response applied to space vehicles. This position is the engineering staff lead, who will have the following duties:
- Develop, verify and validate numerical simulation tools applied to computational aero-thermodynamics. Write and publish academic papers on the performed research.
- Maintain the research codes to insure appropriate version control. Distribute the code to partnering research institute. Coordinate UK researchers, partners of other institution and NASA researchers. Collaborate with partners to write and publish academic papers on the performed research.
- Supervise graduate students and collaborate with postdoctoral scholars in the lab to advance their research. Help them write and publish academic papers on the performed research.
