This position requires regularly standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); intermittently lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Also involves some job-related travel (less than 10% of time); exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to loud noises, temperature extremes, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, and blood-borne or airborne pathogens.Shift:
Day shift and occasional weekends; 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.Job Summary:
The Medical Records Chart Coordinator is responsible for Patient Health Record management and collaboration across the enterprise and outside to meet patient, healthcare and provider needs. This position will be responsible for maintaining accuracy of the patient healthcare record through accurate scanning and assignment of provider deficiencies, responding to request for audits and release of information following all HIPAA, governmental, regulatory, enterprise and departmental policies and Joint Commission standards.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel; experience and knowledge in using Outlook, 3M, SCM, SRM, APM, AEHR, HQPM & PICIS; have high attention to detail; excellent communication skills (both written & verbal); ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment; ability to be flexible and to learn new things quickly. Medical Terminology is essential.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
Associate degree and/or four years of previous electronic medical record experience in a hospital setting are preferred.Deadline to Apply:
