Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Additional hours when needed to meet department needs

Job Summary:

The Department of Biostatistics seeks a biomedical data science assistant with expertise in biostatistical consulting and analysis of biomedical data including clinical and observational data. The candidate will support data science initiatives within the Department of Biostatistics, working with faculty and staff to perform and disseminate innovative translational research. The candidate will collaborate with research partners across campus to design research studies, implement appropriate statistical methodologies to answer research questions, and interpret findings. These tasks will involve development of plans for data management and statistical analysis, statistical programming, data visualization, automated report generation, and scientific writing. As a member of our data science team, the position will support the service mission for biostatistics, data science, and biomedical informatics on a regional, national, and/or global scale. The position may be on campus or fully remote.

Statistical programming expertise (R or SAS) required
