The School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Clemson University invites applications for two full-time lecturer positions. Positions depend on teaching needs, but areas of interest include elementary statistics and business statistics. Experience with large lecture sections and various modes of instruction are of particular interest.
The School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences includes the areas of algebra and discrete mathematics, computational mathematics, operations research, applied statistics, probability and mathematical statistics, and pure and applied analysis. The school offers the full range of Baccalaureate, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees. Applicants are required to have a M.S. degree in a relevant field, but a Ph.D. is preferred. A Ph.D. in Statistics or in Mathematical Science with a Statistics emphasis is strongly preferred. Candidates must also have a documented record of excellence in classroom instruction.
