Position Summary:

The Burn Program Coordinator is responsible for organizing the services and systems necessary for the multidisciplinary approach to burn care and the strategic support to advance the mission of the Burn Program. Incumbent is also responsible for the daily operations of the Burn Program including engagement in burn outreach and education, coordination of burn survivor programs and services, and community burn awareness and prevention activities. Will manage the burn database, coordinates the burn performance improvement program and all activities related to ABA / ACS burn center verification

Required Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast paced environment

Minimum of 1 year project management experience

Strong written, oral communication, as well as effective problem solving and negotiation skills

Knowledge of burn registry injury and reporting requirements

Knowledge of the requirements for maintaining Burn Center verifications

Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office, Word, Excel

Demonstrated teaching and research experience in an acute care setting

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with all phases of Performance Improvement
