Department Summary:

The Department of Learning Technologies focus is to enhance learning and performance through innovative research, teaching, and service focused on, but not limited to: learning technology, information, language, and computing technologies to advance learning, training, cognitive development, and human performance.

Position Summary:

The Department of Learning Technologies seeks qualified individuals for its Associate Graduate Faculty (AGF) and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for Fall 2021, Spring 2022, and Summer 2022 semesters. The specific student involvement may vary from semester to semester depending on department or students mentoring needs.

The duties of AGFs include, but are not limited to, mentoring Ph.D. students in our Distributed Ph.D. program.
This position requires continuous employment for all three semesters (Fall, Spring, and Summer).
This position requires your attendance at the Annual Ph.D. Conference held yearly in the fall semester.

Minimum Qualifications:

Previous Ph.D. mentor experience in Learning Technologies or closely related fields. Need a Ph.D. in Learning Technologies or a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate would be interested in continuing in this appointment to ensure consistent mentoring for each student from starting the program through graduation.
