The Department of Economics at the University of Florida invites applications for a tenure track nine-month appointment at the Assistant Professor rank in the areas of labor, education, and gender disparities to begin August 16, 2021. Candidates with data-driven, empirical research are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate is expected to engage in undergraduate, masters, and doctoral teaching and to conduct independent research leading to publications in leading peer-reviewed journals. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a full benefits package.

Qualifications:

The candidate should possess strong empirical research skills in the fields of labor, education, and gender disparities in addition to excellent teaching credentials. Applicants must have their Ph.D. completed by August 16, 2021.
