ONE HEALTH CENTER COORDINATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THE CIRCULAR HEALTH INITIATIVE
Coordinate Center Activities (directly & indirectly) with other OHC team members and with IFAS Research Dean’s office in support of the Circular Health Initiative.
Act as liaison between the Center and its internal and external stakeholders, research sponsors, and research participants.
Explore and present potential collaboration, research and funding opportunities to the Center Director.
RESEARCH AND OUTREACH ACTIVITIES
Work closely with the Center Director to prepare communication materials (i.e. presentations, articles) to promote and publicize the activities of the Center.
Manage the research efforts of the Center that link One Health issues to topics in social sciences and economics.
Coordinate special studies or projects as directed.
Work closely with the Center Director to coordinate and execute interdisciplinary activities within UF (potentially including co-developing & co-teaching courses). Maintain relationships with participating Colleges and Offices (i.e.- IFAS office of Research, EGH, PHHP, CVM, etc) to expand the One Health network within UF.
Collaborate with various internal/external contacts to facilitate the successful management of financial & administrative matters including, but not limited to: Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), joint research agreements, sponsored programs, etc.Expected Salary:
$38,900-$44,700, commensurate with education and experience.Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in coordination of interdisciplinary and international activities at UF and/or with a PhD in disciplines complementing the mission of the One Health Center (i.e. economics, gender studies, epidemiology / public health, development studies).Special Instructions to Applicants:
