Summary

The primary responsibility of the Tribal Program Manager for Sponsored Projects is to facilitate operations on the tribal site with all activities and deliverables within the Weaving Healthy Families (WHF) project. The Tribal Program Manager for Sponsored Projects will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing daily activities related to running the WHF program on the tribal site. Responsibilities include overseeing, facilitating, and coordinating the WHF program, the tribal community advisory board (CAB) and community health representatives (CHRs), and recruitment, engagement, retention, and data collection, management, and compensation of participants. The Tribal Program Manager will ensure fidelity to the WHF program, ensure the quality of CHR delivery of the program, ensure quality assurance and personnel management of CHRs and the CAB, and ensure quality and accuracy of data collection and management on the tribal site. Responsibilities also include the management of facilities to hold WHF, supplies, meals, and related correspondence, approvals, and contracts with agencies and tribal council. The Tribal Program Manager will be the leader of the CHRs and assist with data collection in a culturally congruent way, including assisting with Choctaw translation and outreach with tribal families. The Tribal Program Manager will assist the Weaving Healthy Families Program Manager.

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree or higher in social work, human services, or related field. AND
  • At least 2 years' experience working in with children and/or families, community programming, social work, healthcare, and/or research setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in social work, human services, or related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience working in with children and/or families, community programming, social work, healthcare, and/or research setting
