The College of Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources, Office of Academic Programs is searching for a full-time, detail orientated Student Services Coordinator II. This position will work on the team to improve student retention and graduation rates for the College. Specific responsibilities include analyzing and communicating the academic action and appeal process for the College; planning, implementing and presenting at the new student welcome; updating and deploying the annual college advising survey. Additional responsibilities include serving as the college representative on the campus early alert team and serving as an academic advisor for deciding students within the college; collaborating with other team mates to review and approve daily actions (withdrawals, adds, etc.) as well as updating the catalog and advising sheets on an annual basis. There will be opportunities to serve on additional campus committees and have additional responsibilities according to the candidate’s interest and skill set.
This position works closely with the Office of Academic Programs team, student workers, and our 2500+ undergraduate students.Salary
Salary Range: $19.47 - $22.19 per hour

Monday-Friday,8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; working some evening and weekend events will be required.Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communication, education, student affairs, or other degree from which transferrable skills were obtained.
Three to five years of experience in advising, preferably in higher education.
Experience with developing and managing student programming.
A motivated, collaborative professional who is eager to work with students, faculty, staff, and academic advisors.
Master’s degree or graduate certificate in education, communication or a related field.Application Materials
