The student ambassador will work with other student ambassadors and staff members on a team to help facilitate summer orientation sessions by: initiating discussions and answering questions with new students about Auxiliary Services, assisting in the preparation of orientation activities and materials, explaining how Auxiliary programs operate on campus, and introducing new students to Auxiliary Services’ locations and amenities.

Position Summary:

The Auxiliary Student Ambassador conveys information about Auxiliary’s services and programs to freshmen, transfer students and their families at summer orientation sessions. They will help educate orientation visitors about Auxiliary Services’ Bookstore, Dining Services, Golf Course, Transportation and Parking Services and Vending Services. In addition, they assist with all Orientation events such as the Resource Fair, Orientation Breakfast, Break-out Sessions, Snack Break, and more. Student ambassadors help facilitate the adjustment of new students to campus and the community. Student Ambassadors also help with virtual tours / events, webinars, videos, and some digital communications may also be needed.
