About Us
The Georgia State University/Georgia Institute of Technology/Emory University Center for Translational Research in Neuroimaging and Data Science (TReNDS) is focused on developing advanced analytic approaches and neuroinformatics tools that leverage brain imaging data, with a goal of translating these approaches into biomarkers that help solve issues related to brain health and disease. Large-scale data sharing and multimodal data fusion techniques are the underpinnings of our approach. We develop state-of-the-art signal processing and web-based solutions to further this goal.

About the Team
The TReNDS Operations Team manages the financial, administrative, and logistical support for the Center and the various members. The team is responsible for supporting researchers who are using novel approaches in neuroimaging and data science to better understand mental illness and other neurological disease onset, detection, and prevention. The team's goal is to provide accurate, efficient, and consistent support to allow the researchers to focus on their science.

About the Role
The Project Coordinator will help manage the day-to-day operations of a large University Research Center and serves as the point of contact for the Center’s members. The Project Coordinator develops processes to streamline requests and helps to ensure that the Center is maintained in a professional manner. The person in this role will be responsible for managing the coordination and tracking of the Center’s HR, payment, IT, and facilities requests.  They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently multitask. They will need to have excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changes.

Job Duties

    Liaison between URC business manager and center faculty/managers. Assists with all department hiring and position changes. Completes or assists in completing internal forms and processes for hiring, position changes, visa applications, and other university documents. Drafts and reviews various letters and memos on behalf of the department.Assists center leadership in developing, implementing, and documenting department policies and procedures. Acts as primary contact for center member's needs and questions.Oversee the coordination of department requirements for employee, student, and collaborator on and off boarding.Supervises the coordination and tracking of department payments, reimbursements, and travel requests. Supervise triaging of facility and IT requests and department's responsibilities for the respective area.Reviews and tracks service and consultant contracts and invoices. Assists with reconciling payroll. May help with department budgeting including state, sponsor, GSURF, donation, and IDC funds.May supervise other staff or students as appropriate. Other duties as assigned. 

Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or high school diploma or GED and six years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
