Position Summary::

The Department of Art & Art History at The University of Alabama is seeking one full-time instructor in studio art to teach in studio foundations. Primary courses would be Drawing I, Drawing II, and Two Dimensional Design, but other courses in the area of specialization could also be included. This is a non-tenure track, full-time, renewable position. In addition to teaching studio foundation courses and other courses if required, responsibilities include service to the department, college, and university.

The Department of Art & Art History at The University of Alabama is seeking one full-time instructor in studio art to teach in studio foundations. Primary courses would be Drawing I, Drawing II, and Two Dimensional Design, but other courses in the area of specialization could also be included. This is a non-tenure track, full-time, renewable position. In addition to teaching studio foundation courses and other courses if required, responsibilities include service to the department, college, and university. Terminal Degree in studio art or related field, a record of successful teaching and its assessment, experience teaching relevant courses at the college level, and a demonstrated ability to teach foundational courses in studio is required.
