The Department of Economics invites applications for Visiting Associate/Full Professor to teach one course in Monetary Theory for the Master of Science: Policy Economics (MSPE) program during the summer semester.
The Department offers a Ph.D. degree, a professional Master’s degree (MSPE), and three undergraduate degrees (B.A. in Economics, B.S. in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics, and B.S. in Computer Science and Economics). Applicants must have a publication and teaching record commensurate with a tenured faculty member in the University of Illinois Department of Economics: hold a Ph.D. in Economics, or an equivalent degree, and preferably a published research record in the field of monetary economics and experience teaching the subject in a professional master’s degree program. Salary will be commensurate with the research record, qualifications and accomplishments. Position is for summer semester II, proposed service dates of June 14- August 5, 2021; appointment will be part-time for the proposed service dates. Position is renewable for future summer semesters subject to performance, unit need, and funding.
