Description of Work:

The primary purpose of the position in the Thurston Arthritis Research Center (TARC) is is to assist in research activities of ongoing projects investigating the genetic basis of Alzheimer’s Disease. The work will involve maintenance, differentiating, and genome-editing of induced pluripotent stem cells This requires that the employee provide support for laboratory operations, lab management, and overseeing safety compliance. This position will also involve research activities to include cell culture, genomic library preparation, and data analysis.

Education and Experience:

Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
