General Hospital Veterinary Technician
TemporaryEssential Job Duties:
This temporary position is approximately 30 hours per week, which can include overnight work, as well as weekends, holidays and on-call work, with the potential to become permanent. Working in the general NC State Veterinary Hospital, Terry Center, caring for hospitalized patients. Job duties include IV catheter placement, IV medication administration, walking, feeding and monitoring patients, bladder expressions, pain management, and post-operative monitoring. In addition to working with 4th year students and communicating with co-workers and clinicians on patient status.Is Time Limited:

Ability to work in and around sick patients with potential infectious diseases.
