Temporary Shift Leader
TemporaryEssential Job Duties:
The shift leader is responsible for the daily operations of the Creamery and helping to oversee employees during shift.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for the cleaning pre and post shift
- Keep track of inventory and place orders as needed
- Train employees on proper sanitation and cleaning procedures. This includes food handling as well as opening/closing techniques
- Train employees on the use of the cash register and how to accept each form of payment
- Responsible for counting the cash registers
at the end of the night and ensuring the deposit is placed in the night deposit drop box
- All other duties as assigned by the Food ServiceManager
Work schedule includes the weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts, with the hours ranging from 10:30am – 9:00pm. Hours may be varied due to operational needs.Is Time Limited:

-Previous experience in customer service and/or food serviceDepartment Required Skills:
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to continuously stand, talk, grasp, lifting of up to 10 pounds and repetitive use of hands and arms
-Ability to accurately determine neatness and thoroughness of work assigned
-Able to determine safety of workplace surroundings (kitchen, storage, guests etc)
-Occasionally work inside freezer’s (cold conditions)
-Knowledge of food, retail and customer serviceRequired License or Certification:
