Salary: $4,700 - $11,717 monthly
Under the general direction of the Industrial Hygiene Program Manager at the UCLA Office of Environment, Health & Safety, serve as technical expert to implement campus programs related- to indoor air quality, mold and general industrial hygiene. Work independently in the field to scientifically analyze and evaluate potential exposures, indoor air quality issues, and general safety. Develop best practices for performing sampling and analysis of chemical and physical conditions. Responsible for writing complex reports and coordinating corrective actions related to safety and health with campus building managers, facilities contacts, principal investigators, and administrators. Responsible for training large numbers of campus personnel in various health and safety topics. Responsible for implementation of several campus IH programs including respiratory protection, and confined spaces. Member of the UCLA Hazardous Materials Response Team.
