Position Summary:

Working under the general direction of the Head Coach or designee, serve as key team member of the management team in organizing, planning, managing, and supervising services for Western Carolina University football program. Function as a leader in the coordination of team travel, fall camp, summer camps, recruiting organization, and coordination of the relationships with outside interests to support programs, activities, and day to day operations. This position is recognized by clients and colleagues as having the authority and accountability when responding to inquiries, resolving complex issues or committing departmental resources. This position is responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing the program/activity budgets, contracts and logistics associated with football travel and events; supervising and evaluating performance of staff and ensuring completion of all project activities. The position reports directly to the Head Football Coach or designee and supports all the football coaches in the operations of the football department and acts as liaison to the Athletics Department. This position must be knowledgeable of, and in compliance with, all NCAA, conference and university rules and regulations and must display professional integrity.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
