Assistant Director of Ritchie Center Events

The Assistant Director of Ritchie Center Events serves as part of a team responsible for the successful operation of Ritchie Center Events and the Daniel L. Ritchie Center for Sports and Wellness. Responsibilities include: sales, preparing legal agreements and verifying insurance requirements, executing, monitoring, directing, delegating, controlling and managing NCAA Division I, University and commercial event coordination (to include all technical aspects of event set-up within the facility or on the playing fields) providing a quality customer experience, billing and settlement, and to maximize fiscal opportunities for the Division of Athletics and Recreation. This position is also responsible for: security, crowd control, communications, parking, visiting teams, official functions, and summer camps. The direct operational report for this position will be to the Director of Ritchie Center Events.

Salary Grade Number
The salary grade for the position is 9.
The salary range for this position is $57,000 - $65,000.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
