Physical Requirements:

This position requires sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing), and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 lbs.


Primarily days with some weekend and holiday shifts required.

Job Summary:

Our Staff Support Associates in UK Health Connections will provide consumers and patients access to UK HealthCare. Responsibilities include providing physician information for referrals; forwarding calls to appropriate clinics and departments; providing consumers/patients with specific information and literature; registering patients for health care; replying to UK HealthCare web requests; providing directions to patients/consumers.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

Accountability, organization, communication, computer competency, phone etiquette, professionalism, knowledge of medical terminology, self-motivation, good judgment, and the ability to communicate via phone and in person with other staff to improve workflow.

Preferred Education/Experience:

Two years of experience and some college preferred.
