Schedule: 2-3 nights (2pm – 8pm) required and every other weekend.
You must be a current UK student to apply to this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with the university.
We are a close, helpful group. We rely on each other to help through out the day. As the office assistant, your primary contact will be the Operations Manager, however when you are working, the sales staff will be the individuals you are working with.
During your shift, responsibilities are as followed:
- Basic janitorial duties
- Making and answering phone calls
- Load and unload furniture
- Assist truck team with unloading furniture and receiving furniture
- Assist sales with movement of furniture throughout store
- Use computer system to check orders
- File away customer invoices
- Assist with project-based tasks
For this position, it is not required but it will help to have some customer service experience. As the office assistant, you will be the primary go between for customers and sales/service department. A large portion of your shift will be spent on the computer management system.
This role is great for college students looking to find part time work that can be flexible with a school schedule.
We are looking for someone that can work Monday 3-8 PM, Wednesday 10-3 AM if needed, every other Saturday and Sunday. Some Holiday hours are required.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
