My husband and I are looking for a great nanny for 2 children, our 20-month-old son and an anticipated foster/adoptive child.
My husband and I are both fulltime professionals that work with nonprofit organizations in mental health and community development finance. We had our son in August 2019 and moved from daycare to in home care because of the pandemic. Our current nanny is moving and taking a job closer to her new home, so we are looking for someone new. We are also awaiting being approved as foster/adoptive parents with the State of Kentucky, so we are
looking for someone to help care for and engage our son and an anticipated new foster/adoptive child.
Our son is bright, energetic, and full of love. He loves being around his people, playing together and going to the park. As a family we all love the show Bluey and are delighted to learn lessons through play.
As a tidy family, we expect some light tidying up would be part of our nanny’s responsibilities, as associated with watching our son. This typically has included straightening up play areas, laundry infrequently, and washing up from feeding times. We do have pets, two cats, and stairs so please consider that when applying.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
- Childcare experience
- Understanding of age appropriate skills
- Desire to teach age appropriate skills through play
- Desire to be active outside
