The Extension Entomology laboratory at the University of Kentucky Research and Education Center at Princeton seeks qualified applicants for an entomological position. This position will focus on field applied research in field crops and hemp. The goal of the program is to conduct management practices to reduce pest in Corn, Soybeans and Hemp in Kentucky. This program also has a strong commitment to extension; therefore, research results will be communicated frequently to all stakeholders in the vegetable industry.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
a)conduct research on field and laboratory studies
b)conducting pesticide evaluations, data collection and record keeping.
c)support many activities including, planting, maintenance and harvesting.
d)good communication within the program and with collaborators.
e)training and supervision of temporary labor may be required periodically
Minimum of Master degree in Entomology or related agricultural degree with at least two years of experience in entomology, or related discipline.Deadline to Apply:
