Job Summary:

The Image Management Specialist in Imaging Services will be responsible for assisting with database management and operations within the department.

Duties include: Serve as informal PACS educator to inexperienced users, employ independent judgment when troubleshooting technical and registration issues, and serve as a liaison between patients and other UK staff.

This position will also employ their knowledge of radiology to upload outside facility exams of UK patients into PACS.

This position will track and record data trends. Locate outside exams with no orders and complete. Work with all staff to ensure quality control in PACS database errors and work with all staff to ensure quality control in PACS database entries.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

Customer service focused. Basic knowledge of computers. Ability to multi-task.

Preferred Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and one or more years of related experience preferred.
