Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; may require some holidays per departmental needs.Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology department at UK Healthcare is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator.
This position will operate as a front-line customer service representative, and will be responsible for scheduling interventional radiology exams, including confirming all necessary data needed to properly identify patient billing information.
The selected candidate will also perform the required billing in order to maintain compliance with institutional, state, and federal practices and assist with the completion of pre-authorizations for some radiology exams.
The Patient Services Coordinator will serve as a liaison between Interventional Radiology, patients, personnel, and other relevant departments, and will display strong customer service skills as well as personal accountability and initiative.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
Exceptional organizational, computer, and coordination skills; assertiveness; clinical knowledge, including knowledge of medical terminology; and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
