Job Summary:

This position has primary responsibility for the laboratory testing provided at Good Samaritan Laboratory. The candidate must have experience in managing technical quality control and be skilled at troubleshooting analytical problems.
This position participates in employee interviews and hiring and is responsible for employee performance, including training, competency and disciplinary actions. Strong communication skills are a must to maintain working relationships with pathologists, nursing, and hospital administration.
This position reports directly to the Associate Director of Core Lab and section Medical Directors.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

Personnel management and technical troubleshooting.

Preferred Education/Experience:

BS, MT or BS, MLS with ASCP accreditation preferred.
